On3’s Jesse Simonton released his updated post-spring Big Ten 2024 power rankings this week.
The forecast comes after spring practice and the spring transfer portal session. Not many headlines are made during the time period, but the picture for the upcoming season gains clarity.

That picture for the Big Ten includes newcomers Oregon, USC, UCLA and Washington. It is a season of transition for many of its top teams as the conference undergoes a facelift, though also a projected all-in year for some others — Rutgers, to name one.
Simonton sees a rough year for the Wisconsin Badgers, to say the least. He has the team far from the top of his updated power rankings:
