Nearly 1,000 sign-ups a few days out from our 1 month release milestone!It's been a crazy hot start for Persefoni Pro - our new free self-service tier of Persefoni's Carbon Accounting & Management platform.That being said there's been a fair amount of competitors signing up to get in and dissect our new product - I can't blame them I'd be worried too. What a blast to watch folks create fake emails and use alternate domains but then still use their real names so we can easily see when they are working at a competitor 🤣 When you launch a free product competitors gaining access is just part of the game - that doesn't mean we have to make it easy for them to copy cat us, we're enjoying dropping the ban hammer on those accounts. Reminds me of my days policing the forums I managed when I worked for GameBattles in my eSports days.Phase 2 coming soon - automatic re-directs to a rickroll experience when they do so.If you clicked the link, you're welcome. Qrates, a vinyl pressing platform, is hosting an extensive masterclass on how to harm a business over several months.A few months ago we deleted my episode with their founder as we can no longer support their business. The damage they've done to small and independent companies like ours is indescribable.- Numerous artists, labels, and fans have paid for vinyl production and purchases over the past year.- No movement in fulfilling orders for months, some extending back to the previous year.- At Stereofox, orders initiated in February are still pending since May- Despite payment and hypothetical existence in a warehouse, records are not being shipped- Widespread frustration evident among fans and the community- Public discontent expressed on platforms like Twitter (search for "qrates")- Qrates attributes the delay to a warehouse hack, a statement met with skepticism and dissatisfactionRunning a record label is a &%&@! hard thing to do, margins are laughable in many cases, especially for physical products.
